Each component of a VTIS security solution is set up, configured and tested internally before being shipped to the customer, so that installation and commissioning at the customer’s site can proceed quickly and smoothly. You are responsible for building our systems in the production area. You install and configure computers, server technology and a wide variety of software. You configure surveillance cameras, but also build mechanical and electrical components such as small distributors, interception ropes, suspensions for cameras and many other security and electrical engineering components. To summarize; nothing works without you.
In the helpdesk and support area, you will ensure that our video systems work perfectly. In the event of malfunctions, you will access our customers’ systems via remote support and troubleshoot them remotely. You will be in close contact with our customers and play a vital role at VTIS GmbH. You will gain a lot of experience with different software and become a specialist in VMS (video management systems) and network technology. Your colleagues will take care of your induction and training and will be on hand to advise you at all times.
In the area of commissioning and maintenance, you and your colleagues will be on site with our customers. You will ensure that installed monitoring systems are put into operation correctly. This job requires technical skills, but also knowledge of networks and IT. You align camera positions correctly, integrate different security components into networks, configure server and computer technology, set up both VMS (video management systems) and different operating systems. In short, you make our systems work.
Your activities will also include the maintenance of existing systems and the replacement of obsolete and defective components of a VTIS security system.
As an IT systems electronics technician in the Project Planning & Design department, you will be responsible for designing network plans, video surveillance systems and basic security systems. You will advise customers on our solutions and work in a team to create offers, presentation material or other information documents to support sales. From this department, you coordinate the assignments of our technicians and take care of project management. This position requires a sound knowledge of all areas of the company, which you can learn after a few years in our company with professional support, so that you can successfully fill the position in the Project Planning & Design department.
As this position has a lot of overlap with sales work, we adapt the salary of our employees to this activity and offer the option of commission-based remuneration.
Working in office management at VTIS GmbH:
During your training as an office management assistant, you will gradually become familiar with the various areas of modern administration. We will introduce you to many exciting tasks. You will not only get to know the typical office processes such as correspondence, telephone calls with customers and partners, we will also show you areas of project management. You will work with state-of-the-art IT and in a young team that is always ready to help you.
Your work is important! You take all calls, coordinate appointments and manage important documents. In short – as an office management assistant, you are the central nervous system of VTIS GmbH.
The apprenticeship to become an office communications clerk has evolved from the following three apprenticeships: Office Clerk, Office Communication Clerk and Office Communication Specialist.
Training as an office administrator at VTIS GmbH is not a one-way street. We offer you many opportunities to realize your potential in different areas, to grow or to specialize. With us, you will not only get to know the typical work on the computer and telephone, but also gain in-depth experience in order picking and warehouse logistics. From goods receiving to project coordination, you will be given plenty of support to familiarize yourself with your work.
You are in daily contact with our customers and coordinate the timely delivery of goods to the right recipients. You will process incoming orders in close coordination with the sales and technical departments. You also commission our suppliers and order goods for our video and security systems. Here you have the opportunity to deepen your activities until you can manage your own projects independently.
